The antifog compound usually used to treat the internal parts of the visor are generally water-soluble, aspersed on the internal side of the visor, therefore after few washings or simple cleaning these solutions disappear or lose their effect.
The 
treatment
is an impregnation and consequently polymerisation of the surface stratus
of the visor with a specific product.
This gives the visor even an abrasion resistance and a very good permanent antifog performance that is ageing proof and resists not only to the washings but also to the visor cleanings with detergents.
