The colour is made by means of special colourings for optical use and UV filters so the optical performance is very good even with the darker colours.
The coloured stratus is only superficial with a thickness of 0,2 mm; inside the visor remains CLEAR without alteration of the optical properties.

The HD. visor – High Definition has been expressly realised for agonistic use and its production system uses the best state of the art . The visor can also be used with advantages for the normal sport driving activity by the most exigent drivers. By means of a double treatment, a filter with a specific luminous spectrum, , is put on the external and internal surface of the visor .The filter, which gives the typical violet colouring, has two specific functions :

• It reduces the luminous peaks even maintaining a very good visibility in the luminous spectrum 400 - 760 nm. The filter reduces the danger of sun dazzlement and it avoids troublesome light glares. The use of this visor is possible also in conditions of poor light with fog or occasionally during the night drive
• It improves the visible contrast that’s to say in situation of diffused lighting the contrast of colours or of light and shade is showed up.
